Traditionally sweet almond oil had been used in several school of medicine to treat dry and inflammatory skin conditions. It is well known for regenerating, moisturising properties, and it is recommended for dry, irritated and sensitive skin. It is high is oleic acid, which has emollient qualities which makes it to be excellent for use on sensitive and prematurely aging skin. Sweet Almond oil is widely used in aromatherapy as base or carrier oil.
