Detoxification and purification of the body is a long tradition that has been practiced in many cultures for thousands of years, including being fundamental to the naturopathic theory of health. We are exposed to environmental pollutants daily and supporting the body to eliminate them optimally contributes to good health. As we age, toxins can accumulate, contributing to feeling generally unwell and can impact our hormones, mood, bone health, immunity, and energy. Naturopathic treatment approaches tend to support the elimination channels of the body (bowel, kidneys, liver, skin, lungs) because it helps to ‘clear out’ the metabolic and environmental waste, allowing the body to function better and slow down aging.
The Detox & Rejuvenate Programme is designed to do this safely. Traditional detoxification programmes result in toxins being released from the body’s storage areas. This programme weeds out the toxins and bacteria, safely removing them from the body and restoring balance. Elena is a registered naturopath and medical herbalist and qualified to provide support the natural detoxification pathways in the body.
