Healing oil of Calendula petals

Healing oil of Calendula petals (Calendula officinalis). Formulated and handmade by our naturopath using traditional method of cold maceration avoiding direct sun exposure to extract its lipid soluble components. Our healing oil retains all medicinal properties of Calendula plant. We improved it with generous addition of Vitamin E to preserve. All ingredients are organic certified.

Calendula is a powerful but gentle herb that can be a valuable addition to many topical products. Calendula can be used to assist with wound healing, soothing eczema, dry, irritated skin conditions, relieving nappy rash in babies. The oil is rich in naturally occurring antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, moisturising and nourishing, particularly suited for aged, dehydrated, sun-damaged or damaged skin. Some of active ingredients commonly found in calendula are triterpene glycosides and aglycones, carotenoids, and essential oils.

To preserve we added a generous amount of tocopherols (Vitamin E) which are called "the beauty Vitamin" for reasons as combined they act as natural antioxidants and support anti-aging by improving skin quality.

For anti-aging and rejuvenating we recommend to put a small amount (just a drop or two) on your face, neck, hand and other parts of the body that need rejuvenation or add a few drops to your face cream.

This oil is intended for external use only. Suitable for any skin, age, no restriction on long-term use. It is safe for baby's sensitive skin. Not suitable for those with a known allergy to the daisy family.
