Healing oil of Kawakawa

Healing oil of Kawakawa leaves, extracted by a method of cold maceration in organic carrier oil of Sweet Almond, formulated and handmade by our naturopath.

Kawakawa is one of the most important herbs used in Rongoā (traditional Māori medicine) and used topically to treat a wide range of ailments, including bruises, rheumatism, dry and irritated skin and minor cuts and infections. It can reduce the inflammation of common skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and skin rashes, as well as joint inflammation and arthritis. Kawakawa leaves contain two key components Myristicin and Elemicin which have been shown to exhibit anti-inflammatory properties, making this oil a wonderful aid for treating any infections and inflammations. To preserve it we added a generous amount of tocopherols (Vitamin E) which act as natural antioxidants and support anti-aging.

This oil is intended for external use only. Suitable for any skin, age, no restriction on long-term use.

Ingredients: Kawakawa leaves (Macropiper excelsum), Sweet Almond oil (Prunus amygdalus dulcis), Vitamin E to preserve.

How to use: rub gently into the affected or injured area. For anti-aging and rejuvenating we recommend to put a small amount (just a drop two) on your face, neck, hand and other parts of the body that need rejuvenation or add a drop or two to your face cream.

This oil is intended for external use only. Suitable for any skin, age, no restriction on long-term use. 

Free from Parabens, Sulphates, Propylene Glycol, Silicone, Mineral Oil, DEA's, Artificial Colours & Fragrances and not Tested on Animals. Does not contain UV filters. In the production process, only glass was used, no plastic.
